Do I Need to Replace the Entire Door If One Panel Is Dameged?

One panel is dent. Do I need to replace the entire door?

Short answer is NO. Replacing one panel is definitely possible.

Replacing one panel will be around 30% of the cost of the entire door. Two panels around %50.   If it is 3 just replace the entire door.

It is not always an option it is depends on the make and model of the door.

Manufactures slightly change the design of the model from time to time, as well sometimes they just stop making certain models.

I would say that if the door is not older then 5 years most likely it will be possible to get one panel.

Yet many companies choose not to do so, Why?

Well, for the contractors it is make since,  door measurement need to be taken, find who the maker is check if the specific panel is still in reach and let’s say that the sticker was there they were able to track down the make the supplier can provide the same panel, it isn’t a spring that they carry regularly on there truck, they need to get it from the supplier, which non of them is in the Seattle area.
